  • Skill Development for participants
    1. Analytical skills: Participants are required to analyze competencies and specific practice approaches that meet the standards. Builds analytical skills.
    2. Organizational skills: Participants are required to organize portfolios and paperwork in a specific manner according to requirements. Approaches are quality assured and regularly reviewed. Builds organization skills.
    3. Attention to detail: Participants are required to reference and cross-reference material and information in a specified protocol. Builds skills in attending to detail.
    4. Relational skills: Participants (particularly assessors) are focused on feedback and relationships with employees. Builds supervisory relationship skills.
    5. Behavioral performance assessment: Participants are required to specifically identify behavior that represents best practice. Participants must document practice in a behaviorally specific manner. Builds the ability to be specific about performance feedback.
    6. Motivation approaches: Assessor training provides participants with information on motivational approaches and focusing on individual differences between employees for improving outcomes in performance.
    7. Feedback skills: Assessor training focuses on positive/strengths- based feedback approaches. Builds skills in improving performance through specific feedback.
