WHAT ARE NCPC'S ORIGINS?
Originally developed in the United Kingdom over 20 years ago and now
available in 110 countries, programs in the United States began adopting
NCPC certification in 1997.
The results of NCPC certification are so promising
that the Duke Foundation agreed to fund a three year pilot program in
North Carolina to fund several agencies to adopt NCPC training.
